You can still view illustrations, read novels, and enjoy the site without My pixiv, but you'll enjoy your time even more by using this feature.
You can add users to My pixiv by doing the following:
1. Click "My pixiv request" from the page of the user you want to add.
On desktop
On mobile
2. Please type them a message and then send it.
3. The other user will be added to your My pixiv if they agree.
* You cannot use My pixiv requests to send creators Request-related messages.
