If you experience any of the issues listed above while using pixiv, please check the following first.
1. Check the recommended environment.
For more information, refer to "What is the recommended environment for pixiv?"
2. Check if there's a problem with your device.
Make sure that your device has sufficient processing capacity.
<If you are using the desktop version of pixiv...>
- Restart your browser.
- Restart your device (turn it off and on again).
- Log out of pixiv and log in again.
- If you have multiple applications running, close them.
- Delete temporary files other than bookmarks from your Internet browser, such as the cache, cookies, etc.
- If you have any extensions or add-ons installed on your browser, turn them off or uninstall them.
- If you have turned off referrers in your browser settings, turn them on.
For more information, please refer to "What are referrers?" - Review the security settings or temporarily suspend your antivirus software.
- Disable content blockers (e.g., ad blockers).
- Allow JavaScript to run.
<If you are using the mobile version of pixiv...>
- Check the same items as the desktop version.
- If you are able to view the site through the official app or a Wi-Fi connection, there is a possibility that you are unable to view it due to filtering by your mobile carrier. Please check the restrictions of your mobile carrier.
<If you are using pixiv on the iOS or Android app...>
- Restart the app.
- Restart your device (turn it off and on again).
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
- Delete the cache.
3. Check if there's a problem with your internet connection.
<If you are using pixiv via Wi-Fi or LAN...>
- Connect to a different Internet connection with a good connection.
- Reconnect to the network or Wi-Fi.
- Turn on and off your device's Airplane Mode to reset your connection.
- Restart your router.
- Unplug and reconnect your LAN cable.
<If you are using pixiv via mobile data...>
- Make sure your connection is stable.
- Turn on and off your device's mobile data communication to reset your connection.
- Check with your mobile carrier's support desk to see if the problem is caused by communication speed restrictions.
If the issue persists even after checking items 1 through 3, the site may be experiencing a high load due to high traffic on pixiv.
Please try to access the site after an hour or more has passed.
