Currently, we're only accepting translation suggestions for Japanese tags.
About translating to English
About spaces and parentheses
- You can use spaces in your suggested translations
Example: When translating the Japanese tag for "black hair", please use the wording "black hair" by separating each word with a space. - Please avoid parentheses whenever possible
If parentheses are not used in the original tags, please do not use parentheses in your suggested translation.
For example, if parentheses are not used in the official translation of a character name, please do not include them in your suggested translation (you don't need to add the anime/manga title in parentheses. Translations might be ambiguous without adding the work title in parentheses, but please do not include it nevertheless.
If the original tag includes parentheses, you are allowed to use them in your suggested translation.
About the order of first names and last names
- When suggesting a translation, please follow the order "Name - Last Name".
Example: even if the Japanese notation follows the order "Last Name - Name", please follow the order "Name - Last Name" when suggesting a translation.
About upper case and lower case letters
- Please use capital letters for the first letter of titles and character names. Try to stick to the official notation as much as possible.
Example of character names/person names in English
・田中一郎 → Ichiro Tanaka - Please enter everything else (such as ordinary nouns) in lowercase letters.
